Documenting names of 139 ISIS in Turkey's mercenaries ranks

The Violations Documentation Center revealed that the Turkish occupation state sponsored dozens of mercenaries, ISIS including leaders, working under the umbrella of the so-called "National Army" in the Syrian areas occupied by Turkey in the north of the country.

A report issued by the Violations Documentation Center in North and East Syria indicated that the Turkish occupation state sponsors ISIS mercenaries in the areas occupied by Turkey in northern Syria.

The report revealed the names of 139 ISIS operatives, including leaders, deployed among different mercenary groups of Turkey from the so-called "National Army" in the areas of Afrin, Azaz, Girê Spî, Serê Kaniyê, al-Bab and Jarablus.

Among the most prominent names are Omar Hajji Sultan, one of the ISIS militants close to the leaders of the ISIS, who currently resides in the city of Girê Spî/Tal Abyad, and is a Syrian national, and Abu al-Wafa al-Tunisi, an ISIS leader and former Tunisian intelligence officer who is currently in the city of Serêkaniyê.

It is noteworthy that a number of ISIS leaders, including "Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Abu Ibrahim al-Qurashi, and Abu Hussein al-Qurashi," were killed in raids by the international coalition in coordination with the Syrian Democratic Forces in the areas occupied by Turkey in northern Syria near the Turkish border.
