Dirbêsiyê people affirm their support for S. Kurdistan people
The people of Dirbêsiyê city affirmed their support for the stance of the people of S. Kurdistan in rejecting and resisting the attacks by the Turkish occupation army.
The Dirbêsiyê City Council in Jazera Canton issued a statement to the public today, rejecting the Turkish occupation army's attacks on S. Kurdistan and condemning the cooperation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in this context.
The statement, read in front of the city council by the co-chair of the Dirbêsiyê Council, Raziya Ibrahim, was attended by dozens of residents, members of civil and service institutions, the Kongra Star, and the Revolutionary Youth Movement of Syria.
The statement clarified that the recent movements of the Turkish occupation army in S. Kurdistan, and its bombings and attacks on other areas in cooperation with the KDP, are merely attempts to besiege the Guerrilla forces in those areas.
The statement condemned the cooperation of the KDP in this context, as well as the silence of international powers that encourage Turkey's violations and crimes by turning a blind eye to Turkey's transgressions against neighboring countries like Iraq and Syria.
