The Turkish occupation authorities continue their policies against Leader Abdullah Ocalan, which consist of tightening the isolation imposed on him, as no information has been received about him for 36 months.

In this regard, national figures in the city of Amuda condemned the policies of the Turkish state against Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and demanded his physical freedom, expressing their concern about his condition.

"Turkish fascism aims to cut off all means of communication between Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the people"

Munawar Khalid from the city of Amuda said about the strict isolation of Leader Abdullah Ocalan: "Through this isolation, the fascist Turkish state aims to cut off all means of communication between Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the people, who have drawn from the fountainhead of the leader's thought and been quenched by it."

She added: “Many activities are being held in North and East Syria, the four parts of Kurdistan and abroad, but this is not enough. We must carry out activities day and night. If we do not see Leader Abdullah Ocalan physically free in front of us, we will not rest, nor will we tire or get bored. What has made the people so far resistant and steadfast in the face of all the conspiracies being hatched against them is the thought of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. Therefore, we say, ‘If Leader Ocalan is not physically free, the people will not be free.’”

Ineffective moves by the international community

As for Mohammed Ahmed, he pointed out that demanding to break the isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the duty of every patriot and revolutionary against the Turkish enemy.

He added, "The Turkish occupier imposed strict isolation on Leader Ocalan in violation of humanitarian standards and laws, and the occupier seeks through this isolation to undermine the Kurdish people and the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in the person of Leader Ocalan."

Ahmed pointed out that they, as families of the martyrs, will not stand idly by in the face of isolation, and that they will continue to resist in the squares by carrying out various activities to demand the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

He also condemned the silence of the state forces and institutions concerned with the affairs of detainees, and continued, "We will not stand idly by and will remain in the squares until our voice reaches the concerned parties and they break their silence and prove that their laws are not just ink on paper, but must be applied on the ground."

"The severe isolation of Leader Ocalan is evidence of the bankruptcy of the Turkish state"

Sherine Daoud explained that "the severe isolation of Leader Ocalan is evidence of the bankruptcy of the Turkish state and its repeated defeat in the face of the steadfastness and resistance of the leader and the struggle of the Kurdish people and the Kurdistan Freedom Movement that has continued for decades... The leader is struggling in prison and resisting the arrogance of the Turkish occupier. We are also struggling and demanding the freedom of the leader."

Sherine concluded her speech by saying "We stand with Leader Abdullah Ocalan heart and soul, and we will not rest until the leader obtains his physical freedom."
