Deir ez-Zor Military Council avenge martyrs of Dahla and Jadidat al-Bakara massacre

The General Command of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council issued a statement regarding the retaliatory operation carried out by its forces in retaliation for the blood of the martyrs of the massacre of Dahla and Jadidat al-Bakara, which read:

"In retaliation for the blood of the martyrs of the massacre of Dahla and Jadidat al-Bakara, who were martyred by artillery shelling of the Syrian regime and National Defense mercenaries, as well as all our martyrs, civilians and military, the forces of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council carried out a large-scale retaliatory operation aimed at raiding 3 points belonging to the regime forces and its mercenaries on the west bank of the Euphrates River, where it led to the death of 18 regime members and the wounding of others, in addition to the death of 2 other members in a sniper operation, and the operation's forces also controlled 11 Kalashnikov weapons and a quantity of Military equipment.

During the operation, regime points from which attacks on our areas were launched were raided simultaneously, namely 3 villages, are: Al-Kashma, Al-Bulil and Al-Tub in the west bank of the Euphrates River east of Deir ez-Zor, where they achieved their objectives accurately, and the forces returned to their positions safely.

The Deir ez-Zor Military Council forces affirm that this operation is a warning to the regime forces and militias if that they continue their crimes against our people and areas in Deir ez-Zor, and stresses their use of the right of legitimate defense against all regime's attacks, which come as a revenge for the firm positions of our people rejecting its policies and crimes on all Syrian territory.

At the same time, we congratulate our fighters participating in the retaliatory operation, and we are increasingly confident in their ability to reach all military points of the regime and its militias from which criminal attacks are launched."
