Death toll in Sweida rises to 1,490

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced the killing of 95 Druze, including 12 women, who were executed in the field by forces affiliated with the Damascus government.

This raises the overall death toll from the Sweida events to 1,490 people, the majority of them Druze, including 765 executed in the field, distributed as follows:

- 725 from Sweida, mostly Druze, including 167 civilians; 21 children and 57 women among them.

- 477 from the Ministry of Defense and General Security, including 40 from Bedouin tribes and one Lebanese fighter.

- 15 from the Ministries of Defense and Interior were killed in Israeli airstrikes.

- 3 people, including a woman and two unidentified, were killed by Israeli airstrikes on the Ministry of Defense building.

- 2 media workers were killed during clashes in Sweida.

- 765 Druze civilians, including 69 women, 15 children, and elderly people, among them 20 medical staff from Sweida National Hospital, were executed in the field by members of the Ministries of Defense and Interior.

- 3 from Bedouin tribes, including a woman and a child, were executed in the field by Druze gunmen.
