Damascus forces target mercenaries in rural Latakia, Aleppo, Idlib

A Russian agency reported that 3 mercenaries were killed and others injured as a result of Damascus forces targeting one of the "Turkistan Islamic Party" mercenary vehicles in the northern countryside of Latakia.

The agency indicated that Damascus forces spotted a mercenary vehicle while it was moving on an agricultural road in Jabal al-Turkman, in the northeastern countryside of Latakia.

The agency added that Damascus forces intervened immediately using a combat drone, and the vehicle was directly targeted.

The targeting resulted in the destruction of the vehicle amid information confirming the killing of at least 3 Uzbek mercenaries, and the injury of others.

In its turn, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that a second suicide drone carried out attacks in Khirbet al-Naqus in the western Hama countryside, without receiving information about deaths or injuries.

In this context, a member of the Damascus forces was killed by a sniper by “Army of Victory” mercenaries in the al-Ghab Plain, and the Damascus forces also targeted a car with a guided missile in the city of Darat Azza, west of Aleppo.
