DAA: Turkish occupation attacks aim to obstruct fight against "terrorism"

Today, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement about the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the region, which stated:

 “Once again, in clear violation of all norms and covenants, the Turkish state launched an attack this morning on the Derik region. This attack resulted in casualties and martyrs from the Sutoro forces after targeting their vehicles in Derik. This aggression undoubtedly expresses the barbarism of the Turkish state as well as targeting security forces.” The stability of our regions after the success of our security forces in controlling matters and combating ISIS cells is also an attempt by Erdogan and his party to escape forward by deceiving Turkish public opinion and directing it towards hypothetical dangers by talking about the presence of a threat from our regions to Turkey. This aggression is also a clear expression of Hostility to the will of our people to build their democratic system, as well as their attempts to build a democratic project in Syria, in all the ways in which Turkey attacks our regions. It is emphasized that the goals are represented in the aforementioned aspects, as well as obstructing the path of our people in combating terrorism.

We affirm to public opinion, as well as to the countries guarantoring the ceasefire, as well as to the International Coalition and the Russian Federation, that the continuation of these attacks would create great chaos in the region, and the limits of the impact of these negative attacks on our regions will not stop only. Therefore, we call on all the aforementioned parties to play their responsible role and prevent Turkey from continuing this aggression because it has major repercussions on the security and stability of the region. We also appeal to Turkish public opinion not to believe the stories that Erdogan and his party are talking about. We also assure our people that we will move forward with determination to preserve our gains and the achievements our people have achieved, and we will achieve sustainable victory through the blood that has been shed on this land. The blood of the components of our people, as Turkey, which is targeting the region, does not differentiate between one component and another, and this is evidence that we are all targeted and our choice is the same in the joint defense of our regions and protecting the gains of our people with their multiple components.

We, in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, extend our sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, wish a speedy recovery to the wounded, and affirm that with the strength, unity, and cohesion of our people, we will achieve victory and thwart all projects of sedition and destabilization.”
