The Damascus authorities are detaining 20 people from the city of Swuyda after their members arrested them in Homs on Saturday.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the "detainees" participated in the "Tamask" conference held on March 22 in the capital, Damascus. They were arrested while heading to Raqqa Governorate to participate in another event. They were taken to a security branch, with the charges against them unknown, and their fate remains unclear.

It is worth noting that a press conference was held in the Syrian capital, Damascus, with the participation of a group of political parties and civil society groups, including the Syrian Democratic Council. During the conference, the establishment of the "Syrian Equal Citizenship Alliance," which identified itself as "Tamask," was announced.
