DAA: Turkish attacks support terrorists

 The DAA issued  a statement regarding the recent attacks of the Turkish occupation state on cities and regions of North and East Syria.

 The statement said, "This aggression establishes a new “chaos” project in the region and encourages the return of terrorism, which was defeated by our forces in cooperation with the international coalition. These attacks have so far resulted in the martyrdom of more than 14 people and the injury of 40 others, including women and children, as Turkey launched 40 raids from Thursday evening 10/24/2024 until Friday noon. Oil refineries near the Awda field were also targeted by drones in 17 consecutive strikes, in addition to electricity and energy facilities."

 The statement added,"In the areas of Kobani, Terbesbiye and Amuda, the attacks destroyed the electricity sector, leaving more than 250,000 families without electricity. The targeting of oil facilities and refineries also had negative repercussions on the service, industrial and agricultural sectors. In Darbasiyah, which has a population of more than 50,000 people, the people suffer from water shortage as a result of the aggression. Furthermore, the bakery sector has been exposed to a major crisis due to its targeting."

 The statement added "We, in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria affirm that these attacks aim to tighten economic pressure on our regions and our people’s project and support for terrorists. We denounce the international silence, which is considered a “shame” in light of our efforts towards stability and building a democratic solution within the unity of Syria and its people. We call on the international coalition and all forces supporting stability to assume their responsibilities and put an end to this brutal aggression."

 The statement concluded, "We assure our people that we will continue to defend their gains, and we call on all thecomponents to unite ranks and stand together in the face of these attacks, and to adhere to the project of the unity of peoples and their brotherhood as a real guarantee for victory,  We also appeal to human rights and humanitarian organizations, and United Nations organizations to work on forming fact-finding committees and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
