DAA: Repercussions of Turkish attacks do not stop only in our regions

On Sunday, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement regarding the recent Turkish attacks, which read:

“The Turkish threats and attacks continue without any deterrent, on our regions, in continuation of the series of genocide that Turkey is pursuing against the region and its desire to expand its circle of occupation. Last night, the Turkish occupation state targeted several oil sites and vital and service facilities that are active in serving the people and providing support to them in the service framework. This targeting is a complementary measure to what Turkey began against our regions years ago, aiming to strike stability and create chaos, not to mention the extent of Turkey’s clear support for the remnants of terrorism and its provision of moral support through these attacks in order for these groups to organize themselves and gather their collapsed forces, most notably the terrorist organization ISIS.

While we in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria affirm our complete rejection of these attacks that increase human and economic suffering, we also affirm that the limits of the negative impact of these attacks do not stop in our regions only, but rather they have repercussions throughout the region and are a large part of the series of true genocide. Our people and all Syrian regions, especially those occupied by Turkey. These attacks also have a role in obstructing efforts to combat terrorism and deepening the crisis at all levels and fields.

We call on all forces keen to achieve and maintain stability, as well as all parties active in combating ISIS and terrorism, to take deterrent positions on these unjustified attacks by the Turkish occupation. We also call on all human rights and humanitarian organizations to carry out the role assigned to them and realize the impact of these attacks and their repercussions on the service areas. and the humanitarian situation, calling on the United Nations and relevant organizations to conduct an investigation and form fact-finding committees; To monitor and document the attacks of the Turkish aggression and its unjustified targeting of service facilities that serve the people of the region in light of the conditions of war and siege that we are experiencing in Syria.”
