DAA of Manbij expresses its firm position of Turkish state

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of Manbij Canton expressed its firm position of defending of the land, stressing that targeting the region is an attempt to undermine the will of its people.

Today, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Manbij issued a statement, commenting on the ongoing Turkish occupation attacks on Manbij Canton, and their repercussions.

The statement was read in front of the Democratic Autonomous Administration building in Manbij by the Deputy Co-Presidency of the Executive Council of the Canton, Ayat Dandal, with the participation of male and female members of the administration, the Zenobia Women’s Gathering Council, the Council of Martyrs’ Families and political parties.

The Autonomous Administration renewed its categorical rejection of the occupation and its continued attacks on NE Syria, and indicated its goal: “to weaken the resolve of the people of the region, and build its alleged new Ottomanism at the expense of the interest of the Syrian people.”

The Administration's statement noted that the Turkish occupation state has moved to the stage of targeting the livelihood of the Syrian people, after targeting the region's infrastructure and burning of crops.
