the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates canton issued a written statement in which it denounced the attacks of the Turkish occupation, and called on international organizations to open an investigation into the crimes committed against the people of the region, and it stated:

“For two days, the Turkish occupation state has been renewing its systematic aggressive attacks on our regions, randomly and barbarically targeting populated areas in the middle of villages, towns and cities, and bombing institutions, service infrastructure, and sources of humanitarian services and livelihoods.

Through these attacks, the Turkish occupation state seeks to eliminate the means of livelihood of the population, destroy the institutions of  AANES that work to achieve security and stability, and seeks to spread terror and fear among the population and revive ISIS terrorism.

The occupation targeted many vital sites, including the two Ain Issa power stations, which supply more than two hundred thousand people with electricity, and a checkpoint for the Internal Security Forces in the town, which maintains the security of citizens, in addition to the role regulation office of the Transport Directorate, the Lafarge cement production plant, and an animal breeding farm. In the village of Sheikh Joban in the Kobani countryside, these attacks are still continuing.

These attacks are war crimes and crimes against humanity and violate international laws and conventions, a gross violation of international humanitarian law, and a blatant cross-border assault. This reflects the violation of the Turkish occupier, which amounts to war crimes and crimes against humanity.

We call on the international community and relevant international organizations to carry out their responsibilities to stop the Turkish aggression and open an investigation into those crimes committed against our people. We also call on our people, with all its components, to unite and struggle to confront Turkish terrorism.”
