convoy of aid from NE,Syria region departs from Raqqa towards coast
A convoy of aid for the North and East Syria region, consisting of 20 trucks carrying food and relief supplies, set off from the city of Raqqa towards the Syrian coast, passing through the city of Tabqa.
The Kurdish Red Crescent today organized the first aid convoys to the coast in cooperation with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, in response to the urgent need to provide relief and basic assistance to the coastal residents, who have been subjected to massacres and violations.
The convoy arrived in Raqqa canton and includes 15 trucks coming from the cities of Qamishlo and Hasakah. Five trucks from Raqqa canton, loaded with food and logistical supplies, joined them. They headed a short while ago to Tabqa crossing and from there towards the Syrian coast.
These initiatives come as part of efforts that reflect the spirit of solidarity among the nation's people and all its components.
