Convoy from Raqqa, Tabqa, Deir ez-Zor arrives at Tishrin Dam
A convoy of residents from the cantons of Raqqa, Tabqa, and Deir ez-Zor has arrived at Tishrin Dam to join the ongoing protests at the dam, which have been taking place since January 8, against the attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.
This morning, the convoy departed from the cantons of Raqqa, Tabqa, and Deir ez-Zor in the region of North and East Syria, heading to Tishrin Dam, known as the "Dam of Resistance", to take part in the continuing protest there since January 8, against the threats and attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.
Just recently, the convoy arrived to a warm welcome from the protestors at the dam, with chants of "Long live the resistance of the SDF" and "Long live the resistance of the dam."
Tishrin Dam has been witnessing widespread popular protests for more than three months now, amid escalating attacks by the Turkish occupation on areas in North and East Syria, aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the region.
