Condolence ceremony held for martyr Saleh Muslim in Damascus

A condolence ceremony was held in the Syrian capital, Damascus, for politician and Presidential Council member of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Saleh Muslim, with the attendance of a number of political, social, and cultural figures.

The ceremony was organized today in Damascus for Saleh Muslim, political figure and member of the Presidential Council of the Democratic Union Party, in the presence of the Autonomous Administration’s representative in Damascus, Abdul Karim Omar, and the Secretary-General of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria, Jamal Sheikh Baqi, in addition to a number of political and social personalities.

During the condolence ceremony, attendees praised the struggle of the late Saleh Muslim, stressing his prominent role and long political career in the pursuit of building a democratic Syria based on freedom and justice.

Saleh Muslim was martyred on March 11 in a hospital in Southern Kurdistan, and his funeral was held on March 15 in the city of Kobani, with wide public participation and the presence of politicians and representatives of parties and political forces from Northern and Southern Kurdistan and Rojava.
