Conclusion of new meeting of joint report drafting team on Kurdish issue in Turkey

The sixth meeting of the joint report drafting team, composed of members of the Turkish Parliament committee formed to discuss and resolve the Kurdish issue, has concluded.

The sixth meeting of the joint report drafting team, made up of members of the Turkish Parliament committee established to address the Kurdish issue, concluded in the capital, Ankara.

Following the meeting, journalists attempted to question Murat Emir, Deputy Chair of the parliamentary group of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), but he declined to respond, stating only: “The work is ongoing.”

Similarly, Feti Yıldız, Deputy Chair of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), refused to make detailed statements. After repeated questions from journalists, he said briefly: “The meetings are ongoing. They will conclude as soon as possible.”

The meeting is part of a series of regular sessions aimed at drafting a joint report on the Kurdish issue, amid anticipation regarding the outcomes of these discussions, which are still ongoing.
