Commander in YAT : Our goal is to comat ISIS cells, eradicate its danger

The commander of YAT in the Syrian Democratic Forces, Shiar Zagros, confirmed: “The operations were launched due to increased risks inside al-Hol camp and according to information about a willingness to attack the camp from outside and inside.”

Zagros confirmed that the forces had arrested “leaders in ISIS cells, after a long follow-up of their movements.”

Zagros explained: "Children here are raised on the extremist mentality followed by ISIS, ISIS families do not listen to what is asked of them. They are still extremist and adhere to ISIS ideology."

 “People who do not listen to ISIS’ extremist ideas are killed. ISIS cells want everyone to be similar to them in thought and extremist approach, and they do not want safety and security to be established inside al-Hol camp” Zagros added.

Zagros stressed: “Amidst all these dangers in the camp, if they are not deterred, and this is what we are doing now, they will have dire consequences that affect everyone.”

Shiar Zagros concluded : “Threat of ISIS still exists. The ISIS file must be placed at the top of everyone’s agenda, and everyone must bear their responsibilities to prevent  massacres similar to those that occurred in Kobani and Şengal and various other areas."
