Children, Jassem and Muslim, pass critical stage

Two children injured by Turkish occupation shelling have passed the critical stage, while a third child remains in serious condition.

The Turkish occupation army shelled the village of Tahnah in the western countryside of Manbij Canton yesterday, Thursday. The shelling resulted in the martyrdom of two brothers, Abdo Jumaa al-Jassem, aged 5, and Jassem Jumaa al-Jassem, aged 9.

Additionally, three other children were severely injured: Jassem Mahmoud al-Jassem, aged 6, Ahmed Jassem al-Jassem, aged 8, and Muslim Jassem al-Jassem, aged 10. They were rushed to Al-Furat Hospital in the center of Manbij.

According to the medical staff at Al-Furat Hospital, today the two children, Jassem Mahmoud al-Jassem (6 years old) and Muslim Jassem al-Jassem (10 years old), have passed the critical stage, and their condition is now stable.

However, the condition of Ahmed al-Jassem (8 years old) remains critical. He requires a complex surgical procedure to remove a shrapnel piece lodged in his head and is currently in intensive care at Al-Furat Hospital.
