Child killed in ongoing attacks on Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh

A child was killed and dozens of other civilians were injured in renewed indiscriminate and violent shelling carried out by the interim government factions for the past two hours on the Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid neighborhoods in Aleppo city, raising the death toll to 4 civilians.

The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces – Aleppo issued a statement announcing the death of a child and the injury of dozens of civilians as a result of the violent and indiscriminate shelling by the interim government factions on the Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid neighborhoods in Aleppo city.

The statement read as follows:

"A child was killed and dozens of civilians were injured as a result of the intense artillery and tank shelling carried out by the Damascus government factions on the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods for the past two hours, bringing the number of civilian martyrs since this morning to 4."

The Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid neighborhoods in Aleppo have been witnessing violent attacks and indiscriminate shelling with heavy weapons, artillery, and rockets by the interim government factions for several hours, directly targeting civilian homes.
