The frontlines of Deir Hafer city in the Raqqa–Aleppo road axis, within the Tabqa Canton of North and East Syria, have seen a return to relative calm after the city’s crossing was targeted by shelling carried out by transitional government forces, causing heightened security tension in the area.

Deir Hafer and its countryside have been subjected to several drone attacks. On the night of September 20–21, a massacre occurred in the village of Umm al-Tina, resulting in the martyrdom of 8 civilians and injuring 4 others.

In the Babiri village axis, the attacks resulted in injuries to two civilians, while the attacks on October 5 injured one civilian, three fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces, and four members of the Internal Security Forces during their duties protecting the area.
