Casualties toll of shelling on besieged neighborhoods in Aleppo rises to 72

The number of victims of the shelling by the Interim Government's mercenaries on besieged neighborhoods in Aleppo has risen to 9 martyrs, with 63 other civilians injured, as a result of the ongoing artillery and rocket bombardment.

The mercenaries of the Syrian Interim Government, backed by the Turkish occupation, continue their bombardment of the besieged neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zeid in Aleppo, which has been ongoing since December 6th, resulting in continued casualties.

ANHA correspondents in the besieged neighborhoods reported that 3 more civilians were injured earlier on Thursday; Khalil Haj Mohamed (18 years old), Hamid Hamo Hebbo (70 years old), and Aida Hamza Othman (12 years old), during the ongoing shelling of the Shaqaif area, north of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood. The wounded were transferred to the hospital for receiving the medical treatment.

With this new information, the death toll remains unchanged, while the number of wounded has risen to 63.

The correspondents also reported that the shelling is intensifying and heavily targeting the Shaqaif surrounding and the vicinity of Castello Hill, amid a response from the Internal Security Forces to the sources of fire.
