The Zenobia Women's Gathering Council organized an introductory lecture titled "The Co-Chair System and Its Importance in Building the New Syria." The lecture was held in the Women's Committee Hall in the Ma'amel area of Deir ez-Zor. The lecture was attended by a large number of representatives of the Executive Council's bodies and committees, as well as female members of the Council.

The lecture aimed to highlight the concept of the co-chair system and its importance in enhancing democratic participation and achieving gender equality in decision-making positions.

During the lecture, Rahma Al-Ali, a member of the Executive Council in Deir ez-Zor Canton, gave a detailed explanation of this system, noting that it is implemented in the DAANES region. It aims to prevent the concentration of power and achieve a true partnership between men and women through the sharing of responsibilities.

Rahma Al-Ali emphasized that the system reinforces the principles of participatory democracy and limits the potential for tyranny and corruption resulting from individual authority through the balanced distribution of powers between two partners in leadership, often a man and a woman.

At the conclusion of the discussions, the participants emphasized the importance of implementing this model in the new Syria as an effective means of ensuring women's representation and enhancing citizens' confidence in emerging institutions. They considered the experience of Autonomous-Administration a successful example to be built upon.
