Three young men lost their lives due to the collapse of a five-story residential building in the Al-Ashrafiyah neighborhood of Aleppo.

According to the Afrin – Syria Human Rights Organization, three young men died as a result of the collapse of the five-story building in Al-Ashrafiyah.

The organization stated that after most of those trapped under the rubble were rescued following the building collapse on Friday, March 6, three bodies were recovered from the debris.

According to information published by the "Afrin Now" website, the victims are: Mohammed Nouri Mustafa, from the village of Hiyamli in the Bulbul subdistrict of rural Afrin; Nouri Mohammed Nouri Haji, from the village of Saranjkeh in the Sharan subdistrict of rural Afrin; and Omar Bakri Taftanazi, a resident of Aleppo, who died while trying to help his friends move furniture inside the collapsed building.

The building had collapsed suddenly due to cracks and fissures in its walls, resulting in fatalities and injuries to several people.
