Azab Al-Aboud, co-chair of Executive Council in Manbij

Today, the People's Democratic Council in Manbij held its regular session with the participation of male and female members of the Council, the co-chair of the People's Democratic Council in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of NE Syria, Farid Atti, and the two vice presidents, Yasser Al-Sulaiman and Fatima Khalil.

The session began with a minute of silence, then the Executive Council’s proposal was read to appoint Azab Al-Aboud as co-chair of the Executive Council of Manbij replacing Nazifa Khallo, who submitted her resignation on March 2.

The co-chair of the Executive Council in Manbij  Azab Al-Aboud took an oath to perform all the tasks assigned to her.

During the session, a request to terminate an assignment submitted by the President of the Peoples’ Democratic Council, Muhammad Ali Al-Abbo. During the session, the request was voted and approved by a majority of votes. Then the Peoples’ Democratic Council in the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria presented a memorial shield to Muhammad Ali Al-Abbo in appreciation for his efforts. .

The recent changes occurring in the Democratic Autonomous Administration according to the social contract of NE Syria, which was ratified on December 12, 2023.
