The city of As-Suwayda witnessed widespread protests today, with dozens of demonstrators once again participating. They expressed their rejection of the Damascus government's decisions and the new "constitutional declaration," describing it as "not establishing democratic rule, but rather reinforcing religious tyranny."

Although the demonstrators assert that they have never left the square since the fall of the former regime, they returned in force today to express their dissatisfaction with the Damascus government's policies, which have exacerbated the suffering of citizens amid the stifling economic crisis.

The demonstrators affirmed their continued protests until their demands are met.
