ANHA agency recall journalist Jihan Belkin on occasion of March 8

Members of ANHA agency visited the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarokhan and stood with reverence and gratitude in front of the tombs of their colleagues, the martyr journalist Jihan Belkin and the martyr Nazim Dashtan, on the occasion of the approach of March 8, and laid flowers on the two shrines, expressing deep appreciation for their great sacrifices in order to deliver the truth and spread justice.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, which falls on March 8 of each year, members of ANHA agency visited the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarokhan and laid flowers on the graves of their colleagues, the martyr Jihan Belkin and the martyr Nazim Dashtan.

ANHA correspondent Jihan Belkin and journalist Nazem Dashtan were martyred while performing their journalistic work, after their vehicle was targeted by a drone of the Turkish occupation state on December 19, 2024, on the road between Tishreen Dam and the town of Sarin.

Martyr Jihan was a pioneer in covering women's events, working tirelessly as March 8 approached each year to prepare reports and files highlighting the achievements of women in NE Syria and their suffering in the world.

During the visit, her colleagues laid wreaths at her grave and also on journalist Nazim Dashtan grave, emphasizing the continuation of their media and struggle careers.
