Alouk Station resumes test pumping in 4 Hasakah neighborhoods

The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Hasakah Governorate announced the implementation of a test water pumping program in four neighborhoods in Hasakah on Thursday, stressing that the water is not safe for drinking at this stage and urging residents not to use it for consumption until further notice.

The company  said the test pumping program will cover the neighborhoods of al-Aziziya, al-Talae, al-Ghazal, and Khashman, with pumping scheduled to begin between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

The company called on residents to inform one another of the pumping schedule to ensure all households are aware, noting that the operation is part of testing the readiness of the water distribution network.

It also emphasized that the water being supplied remains part of the trial pumping phase and is not suitable for drinking at this stage. Residents were urged not to use it for drinking purposes in the interest of public safety until the company officially announces that it is safe for consumption.
