Medical students at Aleppo University held a protest in front of the university's administration building, denouncing what they described as the deteriorating conditions of clinical training and the lack of practical educational opportunities.

The students told ANHA correspondent that the lack of effective training negatively impacts the quality of medical education. They demanded an improved training environment and the provision of genuine opportunities to ensure the competent qualification of doctors.

In response, the university administration explained that it has formed a committee, including the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the deans of the faculties, to study the students' demands and address the training problems. The administration indicated that the high number of residents is one of the main causes of the crisis.
