Al-Hol notables confirm their support for "humanitarian and security" operation 

This confirmation of support and assistance by the notables of Al-Hol in Jazera Canton in the NE Syria, came during their talk to ANHA agency regarding the launch of the Internal Security Forces, with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units, on January 27 of this month, the third phase of the “Humanitarian and Security” operation, in the Al-Hol camp to pursue ISIS mercenary cells.

Sheikh of the Khawatna clan, Muhammad Aboud al-Sultan: “We are the notables and sheikhs of the tribes of Al-Hol district in general and the sheikhs of the Khawatna clan in particular. We support the “Humanitarian and Security” operation launched by the Internal Security Forces in Al-Hol camp, because it seeks to establish security and stability in the region, especially in the camp, which is considered a ticking time bomb."

For his part, the notable of the Khawatna clan, Hamid al-Rajab, said: “We are the notables of the Khawatna clan and the tribes in the region are aware of the news coming from Al-Hol camp; Therefore, we support the operation of the Internal Security Forces to purify the camp and dry up the sources of terrorism there, because it is one of the most dangerous camps in the region due to the detention of ISIS terrorist families there.”
