Afrin IDPs: Turkish occupation attacks will only increase our resolve, determination to resist

The people of North and East Syria continue to condemn the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its targeting of citizens, infrastructure, and farmers’ crops, especially Afrin IDPs, as the displaced Bozan Hussein said: “The Turkish occupation’s targeting of citizens and infrastructure has become a daily scene, but it will not undermine our resistance and our will, and we will continue the struggle until victory."

Hussein added: "The health sector in Afrin and al-Shahba canton suffers from a severe shortage of medicines and medical personnel as a result of the siege and attacks."

IDP, Fakhri Suleiman, stated: “The Turkish regime has been hostile to the Kurdish people for a long time, and wants to strip them of their most basic legitimate rights. We are a peaceful people, and the greatest evidence is that the various components live as brothers in the Autonomous Administration areas.”

Suleiman added: "The Turkish regime wants to distort the reality of the Autonomous Administration areas in front of the international community."

For her part, Yasmine Blink said: “We denounce the Turkish occupation’s attacks on our areas, and the targeting of farmers’ crops. It is no secret to anyone that the goal of these attacks is to break our will, but they will not harm us, so we must come together.”

As for Fatima Daoud, she said: “The Turkish occupation is escalating its attacks and targeting citizens, even after we were displaced from Afrin, with the aim of eliminating the democratic nation project in the areas of the North and East Syria.”
