Afrin, al-Shahba women: Ocalan leader's freedom is ours

Women in Afrin and al-Shahba cantons denounced the disciplinary sanctions imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and stressed that they would continue their activities until the leader’s physical freedom was achieved, and they stressed: “The leader guided us to the paths of freedom.”

Women from Afrin and al-Shahba canton spoke to our agency about the strict isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the last disciplinary punishment imposed on him, for a period of 6 months, on May 21.

Sherin Ahmed pointed out that no information had been received about Leader Ocalan for 3 years and said: “They can never separate Leader APO from the people, as the Kurdish people see their freedom as dependent on the physical freedom of Leader Ocalan.”

Sherin Ahmed stressed the continuation of the struggle in the squares until the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan is achieved.

Almaz Hesso explained that the Turkish occupation state's imposition of disciplinary sanctions that prevent the leader Abdullah Ocalan from meeting with his family and lawyers indicates its fear of the leader's thought and philosophy and its endeavor to break the will of the free people. She called on international organizations to break their silence regarding the violations of the Turkish state.

Susan Oso condemned the strict isolation imposed on Leader Ocalan, and said: “I am from the Arab component, but I got to know myself more through Leader APO, so I see that we will not be liberated until the physical freedom of Leader Ocalan is achieved.”

Citizen Lamia Abbas, from the Arab component, also condemned the isolation imposed on Leader Ocalan and said: “The thought and philosophy of Leader APO guided Arab women to the path of freedom.”
