Iran's state-run ISNA news agency reported that an advisor to the Revolutionary Guards was killed in an Israeli airstrike west of Aleppo on Sunday night. The agency identified the officer as Saeed Abyar, without mentioning his rank.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Danshjoo News Agency said that Abyar was among those killed in the Israeli bombing that targeted western Aleppo, noting that he was from Alborz province, which is adjacent to Tehran.

The SOHR reported that the death toll from the Israeli bombing of a factory in the town of Hayyan in the western countryside of Aleppo rose to 16 pro-Iranian dead, of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities.

The Observatory's initial toll indicated that at least 12 people were killed as a result of the bombing that caused successive explosions in the town of Hayyan.

The Defense Ministry of the Damascus government reported that "the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of southeast Aleppo, targeting some sites in the vicinity of Aleppo" after midnight on Sunday-Monday.
