3 dead and 11 wounded, including civilians, in fighting between mercenaries in occupied Afrin

Local sources reported that violent clashes took place yesterday. Between the "Al-Hamzat and Al-Amshat" mercenaries on the one hand and the "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" mercenaries on the other hand in the Al-Velat neighborhood in the occupied city of Afrin.

According to the information obtained by oANHA agency, the clashes extended to the city of Janders, southwest of occupied Afrin, all the way to the Al-Hamam village crossing with Turkey.

The sources indicated that the clashes broke out as a result of a dispute that broke out over the ownership of land in the city of Afrin, which essentially belongs to a citizen and was seized by force by mercenaries, like other properties of thousands of civilians in Afrin and its villages.

According to information, the clashes that continued until late hours last night, between residential neighborhoods where mercenary military points were deployed, led to the killing of 3 mercenaries and the wounding of 11 others, including 7 civilians, not to mention the material damage to dozens of homes.

The "Al-Hamzat and Al-Amshat" mercenaries also seized a number of military points of the Ahrar al-Sharqiya mercenaries, while tension still exists between the two parties this morning.
