The directorate stated: "As part of our social responsibility and duty towards students and the community, the Directorate of Transport in the Jazera Region announces the allocation of Jian and Izla buses to evacuate students stranded in the Latakia and Homs areas, starting from yesterday and today, which have been affected by difficult conditions."
It confirmed: "This initiative is an urgent response and a guarantee for the safety of our dear students. It aims to provide a safe means of transport to return them to their areas and families safely."
The statement continued: "We affirm our ongoing commitment to supporting all humanitarian and social initiatives that serve the community and alleviate its suffering."
It also noted that "bus trips will be scheduled according to a carefully studied timetable to meet the needs of students in the mentioned areas, and coordination will be maintained with the relevant authorities to ensure smooth movement and the safety of everyone."
