Aldar Khalil: If everyone thought about ecology, nationalities and societies would not suffer

During the second day of the first ecological conference in North and East Syria, which was held under the slogan “With the ecological approach, we will physically liberate Leader APO and find a solution to the Kurdish issue” in the city of Qamishlo, Aldar Khalil, a member of the Executive Body of the Democratic Union Party, spoke.

Aldar Khalil explained that there are some questions that arise: Did our revolution succeed or fail? The answer to this question is that the more the individual changes, the more successful the revolution is, and the more consciousness changes, the more victory is achieved. In the conference talks, there were issues related to the effects and actions of modern capitalism, and the violations of the occupiers were also addressed. He continued: “We are in the midst of a revolution. We want a normal environmental life, in which women, society, and nature are free, and live in a democratic way. The essence of the conference emerges from this sentence.”

Aldar Khalil pointed out that there is a balance in nature, and humans have corrupted nature and become rulers of nature. He said: “We humans have become rulers of each other, and control over nature has reached the highest level. This control is not only carried out by capitalist forces, but we implement it in ways Different. How balanced are we as a society and administration? I don’t see nature in the trees, rivers and water. The problem is in how we manage ourselves.”

Aldar Khalil drew attention to the relationship between ecology and commune life, and said that when we talk about nature, the commune comes to mind. If people cannot live a commensal life with their surroundings, this is inconsistent with ecology. If people exercise power over someone who is less powerful than them, that person will not approach life according to the balance of nature. He said, “We are also part of this nature. Unfortunately, we believe that our level is higher than nature and that we have the right to do everything.”

Aldar Khalil, a member of the Executive Body of the Democratic Union Party, said: “When people think democratically and freely, they will find a solution. If everyone thinks about the environment, no injustice will be committed towards another people and society. An attempt will not be made to subjugate the Kurdish people. An attempt will not be made to exterminate the Assyrian Syriac people, and the Arab people will be liberated.”

Aldar Khalil concluded his speech: “The leader is the owner of the free and democratic project, but he was arrested, and the Kurdish issue nor any issues for other peoples were not resolved, and for this reason democratic Syria has not been reached yet, and everyone is waiting for the political decision. My point of view and my proposal is instead of waiting for the decision politically, let us live with each other democratically.”
