The death toll from the Sweida clashes has risen to at least 940 people, including women and children, since July 13.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the death toll from the ongoing violence in Sweida has risen to 940 since the outbreak of clashes on July 13.

The Observatory reported the killing of 19 civilians from the town of Sahwat al-Balata in the Sweida countryside, including women and children, in one of the bloodiest massacres since the beginning of the escalation. This brings the total death toll to 718, distributed as follows:

406 from Sweida, including 80 civilians, including four children and four women.

330 members of the Ministry of Defense and Public Security, including 18 members of the Bedouin tribes.

15 members of the Ministries of Defense and Interior were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the capital, Damascus.

Three people (including a woman and two unidentified individuals) were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the Ministry of Defense building.

One journalist was killed while covering the clashes inside Sweida.

182 people, including 26 women, six children, and an elderly man, were executed in the field.

Three members of the Bedouin tribes, including a woman and a child, were also executed in the field.
