As part of the coordination process between the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Security Committee, and the Migration and Displacement Committee of the Iraqi Parliament, 90 Iraqi families, with around 500 members, departed from Al-Hol Camp, located on the Syrian-Iraqi border, on Thursday.

The families left the camp at 13:00 and were escorted by the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria and the International Coalition as they headed toward Iraqi territory.

This marks the third group of Iraqi families repatriated since the beginning of this year, as part of ongoing efforts to facilitate the voluntary return of Iraqi citizens residing in the camp through coordination among relevant authorities.

The first group, consisting of 193 Iraqi families with a total of 715 individuals, was transferred from Al-Hol Camp to Iraq on January 8. Meanwhile, the second group, comprising 148 families with 578 individuals, was relocated on January 25.
