9 people killed in Syria within day

At least nine people were killed under various circumstances across Syria during the past 24 hours, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Details reveal that a young man was killed by direct gunfire in a revenge-related incident on Qamishlo Street in the city of Hasaka. In a separate incident, a minor died due to the explosion of a hand grenade in the Ghuweiran neighborhood of Hasaka, while a woman was accidentally killed after a bullet was discharged from her uncle’s weapon in the countryside of Hasaka.

In Idlib countryside, a man lost his life due to a landmine explosion, a remnant of the war, while working on a farm in the village of Al-Zafr Al-Kabir. Additionally, a young man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen while riding a motorcycle between Hama countryside and the city of Masyaf.

In Aleppo city, a member of the 62nd Division affiliated with Damascus authorities died following the explosion of a leftover war rocket.

Three young men from the Alawite sect were also killed by gunfire from Bedouin shepherds in the Al-Kandasiya area of northern Latakia countryside, following a dispute between them.
