Daraa Governorate, its countryside, and the Suwayda countryside witnessed an escalation in Israeli military operations during the past hour, as Israeli warplanes carried out several consecutive airstrikes on multiple locations within and around the city of Daraa, as well as areas in the countryside of Daraa and Suwayda.

In Daraa, the airstrikes targeted various sites, including the vicinity of the governor’s palace, the military security branch, and the civil registry building, with reports of damage to the targeted structures. No confirmed information is available yet regarding the extent of human losses.

Additionally, the strikes hit military sites, most notably the 189th Regiment in Jbab and the 132nd Brigade west of the city, where ambulance teams were dispatched to transport the wounded.

In the Daraa countryside, the airstrikes targeted other military sites, with conflicting reports about the extent of damage and losses.

In the Suwayda countryside, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes on the Kessweh area south of Damascus. These operations are part of Israel’s ongoing escalation in various areas of Syria, coming hours after similar strikes targeted the vicinity of the Presidential Palace in Damascus and the Ministry of Defense building affiliated with the transitional government in Syria, in addition to dozens of continuous strikes since yesterday on the city center of Suwayda and its countryside.

According to the Israeli Ministry of Defense, this escalation is in response to attacks by the Syrian transitional government forces on Suwayda.
