Violence continues in Syria, amid deteriorating security conditions and increasing attacks. At least 41 people have been killed in the past 24 hours.In the Damascus countryside, a gunman from the Jaramana neighborhood was killed while repelling an attack launched by forces allied with the Damascus government. Six gunmen from Ashrafieh Sahnaya and two members of the allied forces were also killed in a similar attack. In the same context, 16 members of the Damascus government forces were killed during another attack on Ashrafieh Sahnaya, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In Aleppo, a young man was killed in an armed family clash in the city of Mare' in the northern Aleppo countryside. Another young man was killed in the city of Manbij as a result of a gunshot wound while cleaning his weapon.

In the eastern Raqqa countryside, a citizen died of wounds he accidentally sustained during a wedding in the village of Al-Awad, while another citizen was killed on the Akrama-Al-Waer road in the Homs countryside as a result of gunfire from unknown gunmen.

In Damascus, a retired pilot was killed by live ammunition after gunmen stormed his home in the Yarmouk camp. In Homs, the body of an unidentified man was found in an irrigation canal after being thrown there by gunmen.

In Deir ez-Zor, a citizen was killed in a revenge attack in the town of Al-Bulil, while six Druze militants were killed in an ambush carried out by Damascus government forces and allied groups in the Damascus countryside, targeting an armed convoy traveling from Sweiyda to Sahnaya.

The Observatory reported that "armed groups allied with the Ministry of Defense forces executed citizens in a poultry farm on the outskirts of," while a sports coach was killed after being shot by gunmen in the village of Aysoun in the Homs countryside.
