Turkish authorities have arrested four journalists, Semra Balık, Dicle Baştürk, Ozan Gerik, and Melisa Efe, as part of an investigation whose details remain unknown, currently taking place in the Turkish city of Artvin.

According to available information, journalist Semra Balık was arrested after her home in Istanbul was raided. The house was searched before she was taken to the Gendarmerie Command in the Maslak area.

Journalist Ozan Gerik, who works for the website Sendika.org, was also arrested in Istanbul and transferred to the same location.

The reasons for the arrests remain undisclosed, as the case is under a publication ban that prohibits revealing the charges against them or the authority that issued the arrest orders.
