The second day of the International Conference for Peace and Democratic Society, held in Istanbul under the auspices of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party, continues today with a session entitled "From the Nation-State to the Democratic Nation".

The International Conference for Peace and Democratic Society, held at the Cem Karaca Cultural Center in Istanbul, Turkey, and sponsored by the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party, continues in its second day.

The attendees have taken their seats at the conference hall, and the conference will begin with a speech by Bayan Sami Abdel Rahman, representing the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani.

Following this, the conference will proceed to its second session, entitled "From the Nation-State to the Democratic Nation," moderated by Ebru Günay, the co-chair of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party.

The speakers during this session are:

A New Social Contract Towards Constitutional Citizenship and Recognition of Identity – Dr. Orhan Gazi Artkin (Human Rights Activist and Writer).

The Importance of Historical Experiences in Building the Democratic Nation – Professor Mohamed Refaat (Professor of Modern and Contemporary History, Faculty of Arts, Damanhour University, Egypt).

Resisting and Strengthening Relations of Domination Against the Centralization of Local Democracy – Professor Norman Bausch (German Academic, Lawyer, and Politician).

International Solidarity for Peace and the Rejection of War – Georges Dallemagne (Belgian Parliamentarian).

Freedom of the Media: Truth and the Language of Peace – Nadera Mattar (Journalist and Writer).
