25 martyred over Turkish attacks on Ain Issa

The continued aggressive operations by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the countryside of Girê Spî and the city of Ain Issa have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of civilians in 2024, as most of the casualties were women and children.

 Since Turkey and its mercenaries occupied the city of Girê Spî following the attack launched on October 9, 2019, they have not ceased targeting civilians in villages near the frontlines in the countryside of Girê Spî and Ain Issa. These attacks led to the martyrdom and injury of numerous civilians.

 In 2024, ANHA agency documented the names and numbers of civilians martyred and injured as a result of the brutal shelling on their areas using all types of heavy and light weaponry, including drone strikes. The total number of martyrs was 25, with 4 injured.

 April 20: Hassan Muhammad Hussein Al-Sheikh Al-Mukhlat (27 years old) was martyred by Turkish occupation sniper fire in the village of Umm Al-Barameel while irrigating his land near the international road.

 July 14: A Turkish drone targeted the international road, resulting in the martyrdom of Khaled Rida Haji Abdul (23 years old) and the injury of Khattab Ramadan Saad (22 years old).

 August 1: Turkish occupation snipers injured two civilians near the village of Sharika adjacent to the M4 international road. They were Mohsen Hreitm Al-Jawal (25 years old) and Aziz Salibi Al-Nahar (23 years old).

 September 4: Atallah Khaled Al-Atiy (40 years old) was injured by Turkish forces while grazing sheep near his village, Al-Bashir, in western Girê Spî countryside.

 October 20: Artillery shelling on the village of Al-Fatsah led to the martyrdom of three children from a single family: Faisal Ghazi Al-Qadeeb, Rasul Munadi Al-Qadeeb, and Maslat Zaki Al-Qadeeb, aged between 9 and 12 years.

 December 8: A horrific massacre occurred in the village of Al-Mustariha, 15 kilometers west of Ain Issa by Turkish drones. It resulted in the martyrdom of 12 civilians, most of them women and children, including:

 Ismail Mahmoud Al-Aidou (12 years old)

 Hassan Mustafa Al-Aidou (1 year old)

 Abdulqadir Mustafa Al-Aidou (10 years old)

 Raqia Uthman Al-Aidou (45 years old)

 Kawthar Mustafa Al-Aidou (17 years old)

 Nouma Mustafa Al-Aidou (16 years old)

 Zamzam Mustafa Al-Aidou (12 years old)

 Nada Muhammad Al-Aidou (15 years old)

 Turkiya Muhammad Al-Aidou (30 years old)

 Abeer Ahmed Al-Fnash (22 years old)

 December 10: Another massacre was committed against a second family in the village of Safiyan in western Girê Spî countryside, also using drone strikes. The martyrs were:

 Dalal Suleiman

 Nadia Suleiman

 Two children: Jasem Suleiman and Hassam Suleiman.

 Since the occupation of Girê Spî by Turkey and its mercenaries in 2019, ANHA agency has documented the number of martyrs and injured individuals, which reached 164, including 65 martyrs and 99 injured. Entire families have been victims of massacres by the Turkish occupation, such as the massacres in Safawiya, Al-Dibs, Al-Alimat, Al-Mashrifa, and Safiyan.
