YPJ General Command: We will respond to the attacks

The General Command of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) issued a written statement regarding the recent attacks by the Turkish occupation state on NE, Syria, which read:

“The Turkish occupation state is targeting the infrastructure of NE, Syria, under the pretext of the operation that Ankara witnessed, but in reality it has been attacking our regions continuously since the beginning of the revolution until now. It uses as an excuse every time incidents that are many kilometers away from us and that we have nothing to do with, to launch its attacks aimed at exterminating the people of the region. The Turkish state focuses its occupation attacks on service facilities and institutions that meet the needs of the people, and it launches these attacks openly and in front of the entire world.

We will respond to these attacks

The attacks on our regions aim to destabilize them, and all forces present in our regions must be aware of the consequences of these attacks, because any attack on our regions reflects on the entire region. Our presence as protection forces, as well as the system by which we manage society, play an important role in the region. These attacks target our people, so we cannot accept that and we will respond to them. The coalition forces have opened the airspace, and these attacks are launched with the approval of these forces, which consider themselves guarantor forces. For this reason, the coalition forces are directly responsible for the attacks of the Turkish state. We call on the whole world. To carry out his humanitarian duties.
