MMC destroys Turkish military vehicle, kills a number of mercenaries in Manbij

Today, the Manbij Military Council issued a statement on public opinion, which reads:

On Monday morning, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation launched several attacks on a number of villages in Manbij countryside.

During the attack that targeted the village of "Al-Khalidiya" west of the city of Manbij, our fighters confronted them, killing a number of mercenaries.

In the village of Arab Hassan, also located in the western countryside of Manbij, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation attempted to launch an attack on the village, and they were targeted by our fighters, which led to the destruction of a vehicle and the killing of four mercenaries.

On the Sajur River line, north of the city of Manbij, our fighters thwarted an attempt by mercenaries to attack points of our forces, that led to deaths and injuries among the mercenaries.

The attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the various regions of NE Syria come in conjunction with the operation launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces under the name of "Security Enforcement" in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, to combat the remnants of cells of the terrorist organization "ISIS", and to fight the mercenaries linked to Regime security apparatus who snaked from the western bank of the Euphrates River.
