KMM issued a statement condemning the attacks of the Turkish occupation and the targeting of journalists.

A drone belonging to the Turkish occupation state targeted a car carrying the JIN TV crew, last Wednesday, which led to the martyrdom of the satellite channel's member Najm al-Din Faisal, and the serious injury of the reporter, Dalila Akid.

The statement stressed that "the targeting of journalists comes as part of a systematic and continuous policy to discourage journalists from performing their duty to document and convey the true picture of the crimes and massacres committed by the Turkish occupation in the region, which contradicts all efforts to achieve stability and fight ISIS mercenaries.

The statement called for the need to respect human rights and adhere to the principles of freedom of the press.

It also condemned the silence of the international forces regarding these crimes and held them responsible for the continuation of the Turkish occupation's attacks on the region, and called on them to intervene immediately to stop the continuing and escalating crimes of the occupation against citizens.
