Journalists from Makhmour condemn the attack on JIN TV crew

The Turkish occupation state bombed a car carrying the crew of Jin TV on the Qamishlo-Amouda road with a drone on August 23, and the worker of Jin TV, Najm al-Din Faisal Haj Sinan, was martyred, and the reporter, Dalila Akid, was injured as a result of the attack.

The female journalists of Martyr Rustam Judy camp (Makhmur) expressed their position against the Turkish occupation state's attack on a car carrying the Jin TV crew, through a statement.

"We will follow the truth."

The statement began with a minute of silence in tribute to all the martyrs of the Kurdistan freedom struggle. Journalist Berivan Tong spoke after the statement. At the beginning of her speech, Berivan Tong drew attention to the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on members of the Free Press Organization, and said: "As it is known, the Turkish occupation state attacked yesterday noon a car carrying the crew of Jin TV with a drone. We express our condolences to the family of the martyr Najm al-Din and recovery to our colleague Delila Akid Our fellow journalists were targeted while they were doing their duty.This also shows the Turkish state's fear of the pen and cameras of female journalists.Members of the press who are now sharing the achievements of the Rojava Kurdistan revolution with public opinion are being targeted by the Turkish occupation state.They want to scare the eyes of the media with these attacks.But Let them know that they will not turn us away from our work with these attacks. We call on media organizations to take a stand against these attacks. As members of the press, we reiterate our promise to follow the path of truth."

The statement concluded while chanting the slogans "Women, Life, Freedom" and "The Martyrs are Immortal."
