55 Syrian refugees settled in occupied Girê Spî canton

" On Sunday, the Turkish occupation authorities handed over 55 Syrian refugees to its affiliated "military police" through the border gate to settle them in the canton, as part of its continued settlement of strangers in the homes of the displaced, local source reported.

According to the source, the deportees are from the cities of "Hama, the countryside of Aleppo, and Idlib."

ANHA agency documented the settlement of 500 Syrian refugees in the occupied Girê Spî canton during the first ten days of this month.

Since the date of the announcement of Turkey's settlement project in the occupied territories at the beginning of April of last year, ANHA agency has documented the settlement of more than 24,000 Syrian refugees in the occupied Girê Spî canton.

Girê Spî / Tel Abyad canton, which has been occupied by Turkey since October 2019, is witnessing continuous crimes committed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries against the people of the canton and their culture and nature, the latest of which is the exploitation of the Syrian refugee file to change the demography of the region, by forcibly deporting Syrian refugees to Turkish-controlled areas in Syria, in addition to imposing the Turkish language and dealing in the Turkish currency.

As the crimes committed by Turkey and its mercenaries against them, the Syrian refugees find a safe haven in the Autonomous Administration areas, and a number of them go there, despite the attempts of the Turkish occupation mercenaries to prevent them.
