On its 100th anniversary..Kurds march against Treaty of Lausanne

Yesterday, thousands of Kurdistan and their friends organized a rally in the Swiss city of Lausanne, condemning the Lausanne Agreement on the 100th anniversary of the agreement.

The member of the Lausanne Committee, Yuksal Koc, said "After a hundred years of the Lausanne Agreement, we, the Kurds from parts of Kurdistan, say that we are here. The filthy policies of the century are practiced in this country as a result of this agreement. We do not accept this agreement. We, the Kurds, will resist in the four parts."

The co-chair of the Kurdistan National Congress, KNK, Zainab Murad, stated that they are in the squares in order to denounce the treaty: "The Kurds are not the old Kurds. We, the Kurds, practice diplomatic politics, and we will resist for our identity, and develop women's freedom in the squares. The whole world knows our model. A person should not accept the politics of fragmentation and unfair. We say we are here."

The Middle East will also be liberated with the liberation of Abdullah Ocalan

Dr. Beppe Savary-Borioli the parliamentarian in the Parliamentary Council of Switzerland and also a member of the Freedom Committee for the Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Switzerland, delivered a speech, and confirmed that he was ashamed of the Lausanne Agreement that divided Kurdistan. He explained: "Kurdistan must become Kurdistan. We do not accept that we and the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) be placed on the terrorist list. The PKK eliminated ISIS, and as favor, PKK was placed on the terrorist list. Europe handed over Abdullah Ocalan to them, and this is a crime against humanity. Just as African women were liberated with Mandela's liberation, the Middle East will also be liberated with Abdullah Ocalan's liberation. The Kurdistan Union is important to us. The Kurds cry out together from here, and this is also Greater Kurdistan."

The head of the Ibrahim Alizad Association confirmed: "The Kurds were subjected to genocides during the past century. The union is much more important than that occasion."

In turn, the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Asia Abdullah, greeted the audience in the arena and stated: "This agreement was signed to divide Kurdistan. We condemn this and do not accept this agreement. For a hundred years, the Kurds have been paying the price as a result of this agreement. We are here and we will resist to the end. Women, children, Rojava, Imrali, the People's Protection Units YPG and the People's Defense Forces (HPG) are resisting against this agreement.

Our resistance will grow more with the agreement of the Kurds and the Kurdish women's union, and the resistance of leader Apo in Imrali against this agreement, long live Kurdistan Union and Women's Resistance.
