AANES commemorates the martyr Farhad Shibli

On Monday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria organized a memorial ceremony for the martyr Farhad Shibli, on the first anniversary of his martyrdom, in the Meshwar Park hall in the city of Raqqa.

The ceremony was attended by the co-chairmanship of the Executive Council, members of civil and military institutions, political parties, sheikhs and notables of the clans in the city of Raqqa, and the families of the martyr Farhad Shibli.

The ceremony began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then the co-chair of the Executive Council, Hussein Othman, delivered a speech on behalf of the council, in which he said: “In front of the martyrs, all letters fail. Today we remember one of the founders of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, he is the martyr Farhad Deirk who sowed hope in the souls of all components to achieve a better future for all who suffered injustice and persecution.

He explained, "The martyr Farhad was a pioneer in the institutional work, and during his career he was able to prove to the whole world that the democratic nation and the brotherhood of peoples are the foundations on which we will build the future of Syria."

He continued, "We are here today thanks to the sacrifices of our martyrs and the bravery of our military forces, and the martyr Farhad was present in all fields and did not skimp on anything to achieve the legitimate goals and aspirations of the peoples of the region."

And he stressed: "We are following the approach and thought of Martyr Farhad, no matter how tyrants, tyrants and neo-colonialists try to extinguish the sun of freedom and democracy, and they will only obtain disgrace and disgrace. We are all Martyr Farhad."

On behalf of the Council of Martyrs' Families in North and East Syria, Council member Fatima Bahbouh said: "First, we have mercy on the souls of our martyrs who are absent from our eyes and present in our hearts, who drew the path of freedom for us with their blood and made for us an endless inheritance of heroism and epics that they wrote and made it a beacon to guide us by."

And she continued: "Today we have the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the leader, the free revolutionary, the lover of freedom, the martyr Farhad Shibli, one of the symbols of the resistance who stood in the face of occupation and terrorism and was an example of dedication and sacrifice. He struggled and worked tirelessly to develop a purposeful, free and democratic life. His martyrdom in the bombing of Turkish occupation UAV in the city of Sulaymaniyah revealed the extent of the barbarism practiced by the Turkish occupation state and its persistence, which crossed all red lines.

During the ceremony, the Autonomous Administration, the Raqqa Civil Council, the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces, and the Democratic Civil Administration honored, and presented honorary shields to the families of the martyr, in addition to a TV show about the life of the martyr Farhad.

In conclusion, the participants went to the village of Al-Kasrat in the southern countryside of Raqqa to lay the foundation stone for the Martyr Farhad Shibli Academy, which will be established in the village of Al-Kasrat in the southern countryside of Raqqa.
